Titanium welding pipe is a new type of metal material that allows for the manufacture of parts with high unit strength and light weight that can work in humid atmospheric and seawater media. Titanium is a chemically active metal. It can act with non-metals such as O2, N2, H2, S and halogens when heated. However, at room temperature, the surface of titanium is easy to generate a very thin layer of dense oxide protective film, can resist the role of strong acids and even aqua regia, showing strong corrosion resistance. Therefore, the general metal in the acid, alkali, salt solution becomes full of holes and titanium is safe and sound. The reprocessing of titanium pipes is generally carried out at temperatures above 800°C and must therefore be operated in a vacuum or under inert gas protection.
