Application of Titanium Plate

Annealing: The purpose of annealing treatment is to remove stresses generated during cold working and to improve the ductility and toughness of the material. Typical annealing temperatures range from 600-700°c with a holding time of 1-2 hours followed by slow cooling. The annealed gr2 titanium alloy has a uniform grain structure, the internal stress is effectively released, and the ductility and toughness of the material are significantly improved.
Solid solution treatment: Solid solution treatment is primarily designed to increase the strength of gr2 titanium alloys. The alloy is usually heated to a high temperature (850-950°c) and then rapidly cooled.
