I. Product Description

Titanium anodes are electrode materials composed of an industrial pure titanium (GR1/GR2) substrate coated with metal oxides, categorized into oxygen evolution anodes and chlorine evolution anodes. Their coatings exhibit excellent electrical conductivity, superior corrosion resistance, and high electrocatalytic performance, effectively reducing the overpotential for oxygen/chlorine evolution and minimizing energy consumption.

II. Manufacturing Process

1. Select GR1/GR2 grade titanium base material, ensuring a smooth surface free of defects, scratches, spalling, cracks, or delamination.

2. Machine the selected titanium substrate to meet customer specifications.

3. Anneal and flatten the titanium substrate at 600°C.

4. Post-annealing, a dense titanium oxide layer forms on the surface. Mechanical polishing reveals a metallic luster.

5. Immerse the titanium substrate in gently boiling 10% oxalic acid for 10 hours to remove the surface oxide layer.

6. Prepare the precious metal solution according to the customer-specified anodizing environment.

7. Inspect the acid-etched titanium substrate for uniform gray surface texture, then manually apply the precious metal solution. Sinter the coated substrate at the specified temperature. Allow it to cool to room temperature before applying the next layer. Repeat this process until 18-22 layers are applied.

8. After completing the sintering process, conduct a life test on batch samples. Package the finished product upon completion.
