Titanium foil production process
Rolling: The manufacturing method of titanium foil is most widely used in flat roll strip rolling, which has high productivity, large scale and large output. The basic use of six-roll cold rolling mill or 20-roll cold rolling mill for production.
Heat treatment: There are two mainstream heat treatment methods for titanium strips and foils: vacuum annealing and continuous on-line protection annealing. Vacuum annealing, is the roll or sheet titanium foil placed in a vacuum furnace for heat treatment; continuous on-line protection annealing of titanium strip and foil is a new technology in recent years, which compared with the vacuum annealing has a higher production efficiency, and product quality has a higher level of enhancement, but the threshold of the equipment is higher, especially for the quality of the product as well as titanium strip and foil mechanical properties of the index has a good guarantee.
