Cold Rolled Titanium Plate

Cold-rolled titanium plate is produced by continuously rolling titanium billet at room temperature. Through the cold rolling process, the material is refined into a smoother, flatter, and thinner sheet product.

• High Precision: The standout advantage of cold-rolled titanium sheets is their high precision and flatness. The cold-rolling process can precisely control the thickness, producing thin sheets and foils around 0.18 millimeters thick, with thickness tolerances far below ASTM standard requirements. Ordinary hot-rolled titanium sheets can hardly achieve this level of precision.
• Sheet flatness: By optimizing key parameters, like the reduction rate, the flatness of cold-rolled titanium sheets can reach ≤3 mm/m, meaning the surface waviness doesn't change more than 3 millimeters per meter-fully meeting the national standards for high-quality titanium strips.
• High-quality surface: Because cold rolling is done at room temperature, it avoids surface oxidation caused by high heat. As a result, the finished surface is bright, smooth, and free of oxide layers, making it perfect for applications where the surface matters, like medical devices, electronics, and high-end decorative materials.
• Flexible Mechanical Properties: The cold rolling process can create a 'work hardening' effect in titanium. The subsequent annealing treatment can flexibly adjust the material's strength and ductility to meet the processing needs of different applications.
