I.Products Description
Titanium welding pipe is welded by cold rolled strip coil, with uniform wall thickness, good concentricity, good finish, and it is not easy to scale inside the pipe. Especially thin-walled titanium pipes, produced by seamless rolling process simply can not meet its technical requirements. Seamless titanium pipe after rolling or drawing process, it is difficult to do wall thickness of 1 mm or less; and titanium welding pipe can do wall thickness of 0.5 mm and below, saving a lot of material and cost. At the same time, due to the thinner wall thickness of titanium welding pipe, it can obtain higher heat transfer coefficient and better heat transfer effect.
Titanium welding pipe is produced through automated continuous production lines using titanium strip coils with uniform wall thickness through cold bending molding, welding, on-line heat treatment, sizing and straightening, non-destructive testing and gas tightness testing. From titanium sponge to welded pipe, the material utilization rate is usually about 80%, with the rapid development of the titanium industry and welding technology is becoming more and more mature, titanium welding pipe production efficiency will also be greatly improved, quality stability, consistency and production efficiency will be higher, according to the customer's requirements of the fixed size cut to the required length, short delivery time, high material utilization, the unit cost of seamless pipe will be lower.

II. Production process
Titanium strip uncoiling → shear butt welding → live sleeve storage → titanium strip cleaning → pipe forming → welding → weld eddy current detection → predetermined diameter → on-line annealing → fine sizing/straightening → eddy current detection → laser calibration → on-line coding → cut to size → ultrasonic flaw detection → fine sizing/flattening → airtightness test → finished product inspection → packaging and warehousing.
III. Quality Control
1. Raw material testing: according to the furnace number or each roll of strip testing composition, slitting burrs, thickness.
2. Pipe making test: 50pcs/batch or 30minutes/times/table to test length, outer diameter, roundness, weld seam, surface.
3. Non-destructive testing: ultrasonic testing and eddy current testing according to different standards.
4. Finished product inspection: inspection length, outer diameter, roundness, weld seam, surface, burr at both ends of the full inspection.
5. Mechanical properties: 200 pcs/batch inspection of flaring, flattening, reverse bending, tensile strength, yield strength and elongation.
