Pure Titanium Gr2 Semi Round Head Screw, made of high-quality industrial pure titanium, is a precision fastener that combines lightweight, high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Its semi-round head design allows for smooth fastening surfaces and is widely used in chemical equipment, medical devices, marine engineering, and high-end consumer goods.
Manufacturing process
Strictly follow the precision process manufacturing to ensure the consistent performance and reliability of each screw:
High-purity raw materials: high-purity titanium ingots with triple vacuum self-consuming arc melting (VAR), uniform composition and extremely low impurities.
Vacuum annealing: recrystallization annealing at 700–800°C to eliminate work hardening and restore excellent plasticity; It is supplemented by homogenized annealing to eliminate component segregation.
Wire drawing and modification: Precision wire is made through multiple passes of cold drawing or hot rolling, with special lubrication process, to ensure that the Φ<3mm ultra-fine wire does not break.
Pickling and cleaning: hydrofluoric acid + nitric acid mixture removes oxide skin and pollutants, and obtains a clean active surface after washing and neutralization.
Precision molding: According to the characteristics of Gr2's α-shaped pure titanium, the head is formed using cold heading or warm heading process to ensure that the semi-round head has a full profile and no folding cracks. The thread part is preferentially rolled, and cold work hardening is used to improve the strength and fatigue life of the tooth pattern. Special specifications are optional for cutting threads.
Stress relief treatment: After molding, stress relief annealing is carried out to stabilize the size and avoid delayed cracking.

Quality control
Each batch of products has passed strict testing, and the testing items are: component analysis,
Mechanical testing, non-destructive testing, size and appearance, to ensure compliance with GB/T, ISO, AMS and other standards.
Packaging and storage
Individually packaged or arranged on anti-static pallets to prevent mutual wear and contamination during transportation.
Built-in hygroscopic agent controls the humidity of the storage environment and avoids oxidation and discoloration on the surface of titanium material.
The label clearly indicates the material grade (Gr2), specification size, batch number and implementation standard, and is traceable throughout the process.
