TB5 Alloy Introduction
TB5 alloy is a metastable beta titanium alloy with a nominal composition of Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al. It contains isomorphous beta-stabilizing element V, eutectoid beta-stabilizing element Cr, neutral element Sn, and alpha-stabilizing element Al.
Key Properties:
Excellent Cold Formability: The alloy exhibits outstanding rolling and cold forming performance, with cold rolling reduction rates exceeding 90%. It can form moderately complex sheet metal parts at room temperature and is suitable for cold heading rivets and bolts.
Superplastic Forming: Capable of superplastic forming at temperatures above 700°C.
High Strength: Through solution and aging treatment, the alloy can achieve tensile strengths exceeding 1080 MPa.
Good Weldability: The alloy demonstrates excellent welding characteristics.

Operating Temperatures:
Solution-treated condition: up to 200°C
Solution and aging-treated condition: up to 290°C
Available Forms:
The alloy is mainly available in thin sheets, strips, and bars (wires). Tubes can also be produced.
