International Standard Specifications

ASTM B348 / ASME SB348: The global standard for titanium and titanium alloy bars, billets, forgings, and rings used in industrial, medical, and aerospace applications.

ASTM F67 / F136: Specialized standards for unalloyed titanium (F67) and Ti-6Al-4V ELI (F136) used strictly for surgical implants and medical devices.

AMS 4928: Standard for Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) titanium alloy bars, forgings, and rings for aerospace applications.

Common Grades and Application Functions

Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (Commercially Pure): These grades prioritize high ductility, formability, and unmatched corrosion resistance.

Functions: Used for chemical processing equipment, offshore marine piping, power generation components, and medical instruments.

Grade 5 / Ti-6Al-4V (Alloyed): The industry standard for high-performance applications. It combines 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, offering high strength, extreme heat resistance, and excellent fatigue performance.
