I. Product Description
Titanium Coil, Titanium Foil, Titanium Strip
Titanium metal resembles steel in appearance with a silvery-gray luster. As a transition metal, it was long considered a rare metal. Titanium is not a rare metal. It constitutes approximately 0.42% of the Earth's crust by weight, which is 16 times the combined total of copper, nickel, lead, and zinc. It ranks seventh in abundance among metals, with over 70 known titanium-bearing minerals. Titanium exhibits high strength, low density, great hardness, a high melting point, and exceptional corrosion resistance. High-purity titanium exhibits excellent plasticity, but becomes brittle and hard when impurities are present. GR1 titanium foil is an ultra-thin metal strip manufactured from high-purity titanium metal, typically ranging in thickness from 0.005 to 0.1 mm.
II. Product Features
As a foil form of industrial pure titanium, Gr1 titanium foil exhibits the following notable characteristics:
1. Physical Properties: Density of 4.5 g/cm³ (only 57% that of steel), Vickers hardness of 120-150 HV, thermal conductivity of 16.4 W/(m·K)
2. Chemical Properties: Exhibits excellent corrosion resistance against most acids, alkalis, and salt solutions, particularly outstanding in oxidizing media. A dense passivation film forms on the surface to prevent further corrosion
3. Mechanical Properties: Achieves over 30% elongation at room temperature, combining high strength with good weldability
4. High-Temperature Performance: Maintains high strength within the 550-700°C temperature range.

III. Primary Application Fields
GR1 titanium foil, with its outstanding properties, finds extensive use across multiple high-end sectors: Aerospace: Engine blades, airframe structures, and skins-offering high strength, high-temperature resistance, and lightweight properties; Electronics Industry: Speaker diaphragms and precision electronic components, delivering high fidelity with clear, bright sound; Chemical Equipment: Heat exchangers, reactor linings, and piping, resisting strong corrosive media while reducing maintenance costs; Marine Engineering: Ship components and desalination equipment, withstanding high-salinity environments to extend equipment lifespan; Automotive Industry: Diesel engine pistons and connecting rods, enhancing performance and improving fuel economy.
