Zirconium (Zr), atomic number 40, is a high melting point metal that is light gray in color. Density 6.49g/cm³. Melting point 1852±2.001℃, boiling point 4377℃.
Zr-1 zirconium plate is a typical high-purity industrial-grade zirconium plate, conforming to the US standard UNS R60700. Its total zirconium and hafnium (Zr+Hf) content is strictly controlled to above 99.2%. Thanks to this high-purity base, this material exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in strong acids such as sulfuric acid and nitric acid, as well as caustic alkali solutions, making it an ideal material for manufacturing demanding chemical equipment. We strictly adhere to ASTM B551 standards in our production, and offer both in-stock and custom-made options with thicknesses ranging from 0.3mm to 76.2mm to meet the processing requirements of various working conditions.

Advantages of Zr1 Zirconium Plates in Industrial Applications
Strong acid environments: Zirconium exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid solutions with a concentration not exceeding 70% at temperatures up to 200°C, and in nitric acid solutions with a concentration not exceeding 90%. Its corrosion resistance in the acetic acid industry is even superior to that of titanium.
Strong alkalis and chloride ions: It is resistant to corrosion in caustic alkali solutions of all concentrations, even boiling ones, and can resist the scouring and pitting corrosion caused by chloride ions in seawater.
Corrosion rate: In typical high-temperature acidic environments, the annual corrosion rate can be as low as 0.024~0.04 mm/a.
