High standard substrate manufacturing
First of all, in strict accordance with ASTM B265 / GB/T 3621-2022 and other standards, the whole process is controlled from raw materials to finished products.
1. Raw materials and melting: Using high-purity titanium sponge as raw material, it is melted multiple times by vacuum self-consuming electric arc furnace (VAR) to cast titanium ingots with uniform composition and extremely low impurities to ensure the purity and corrosion resistance of the material root.
2. Forging and hot processing: After heating the titanium ingot, it is forging in multiple directions on a 10,000-ton press to break the casting structure to form a dense and uniform fiber flow line, laying the foundation for the mechanical properties of the plate.
3. Precision Rolling:
Hot rolling: Rolling above the recrystallization temperature to efficiently obtain the desired thickness and improve the internal structure of the material.
Cold rolling: Fine rolling at room temperature allows for precise control of the sheet to its final thickness while achieving smoother surfaces and higher dimensional accuracy.
4. Heat treatment and pickling: annealing in a protective atmosphere to fully eliminate internal stress and restore the plasticity of the material. Finally, the surface scaling is removed by pickling to obtain a clean "whiteboard" surface that is ready for subsequent processing.
Professional frosted surface treatment
On high-quality substrates, a unique matte texture is created through controlled surface texturization technology. This is not only a cosmetic treatment, but also a functional improvement.
1. Core Process:
Precision Blasting: Using abrasives of specific particle sizes and materials (e.g., alumina, glass beads) to evenly spray surfaces to create a fine, consistent matte texture. This is the most mainstream and controllable way to achieve "frosted surface".
Mechanical grinding/drawing: Specialized grinding equipment or technology is used to form unidirectional or crossed regular silk patterns (i.e., "drawing surfaces") with a high-grade and directional texture.
Special chemical etching: Controlled corrosion with a strict ratio of acid to produce a microscopic rough surface. This process allows for precise adjustment of surface roughness (Ra value) and hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity.
The "water-polished" process: As a characteristic treatment, it combines multiple passes of precision grinding and polishing to achieve a high-grade matte finish that is silk-smooth, soft and completely fingerprint-free.
