Processing performance
GR2 pure titanium plate has good processing performance and is suitable for various cold and hot processing.
Bending and forming
With an elongation of ≥20%, GR2 exhibits excellent cold formability, allowing for bending, stamping, and other operations. For complex bending or processing with large deformation, intermediate annealing may be necessary to relieve stress and restore plasticity. Generally, the thicker the sheet and the larger the bending radius, the easier it is to process without cracking.

Welding performance
It has excellent weldability and is often used with TIG (tungsten inert gas welding) or MIG (methane inert gas welding) methods. However, the welding area must be strictly protected with argon gas to prevent embrittlement caused by reaction with oxygen and nitrogen in the air at high temperatures.

Heat treatment
Annealing is commonly used to relieve processing stress and improve ductility and toughness. Typical annealing temperatures are 600-700℃.
