I. Product Description

GR2 brushed titanium plate is a surface treatment technology that uses mechanical friction from abrasive belts/rollers to create uniform, continuous parallel textures (straight lines, cross lines, satin lines, etc.) on the surface of pure titanium or titanium alloy plates. It combines a matte metallic texture, reduces reflectivity, and improves fingerprint/corrosion resistance, making it widely used in aerospace, medical, 3C electronics, and decorative fields.

II. Process Description

1. Straight Line Brushing Process

Straight line brushing involves unidirectional, reciprocating, or continuous grinding on the surface of a titanium plate to create uniform, parallel, unidirectional, and continuous straight lines. The texture direction is fixed, without intersections or random patterns, making it the most mainstream and stable surface treatment method for titanium plates.GR2 brushed titanium plate features fine, straight lines with a uniform direction; visually, it has a strong matte metallic texture with a soft, non-glaring reflective finish; it feels smooth to the touch but has a slight directional friction feel; the finer the mesh, the more delicate, subtle, and sophisticated the texture; the coarser the mesh, the more obvious and rugged the texture.

2. Post-treatment

Cleaning: Remove surface debris;

Passivation: Treat with nitric acid or a special passivation solution to strengthen the surface oxide film and significantly improve corrosion resistance;

Drying/blowing; anti-fingerprint coating can be applied if necessary;
